I'd met with my supervisor before, once. I don't have evidence of it, but it was our first meeting where we just spoke about the project, and he said that typically there are two types of projects. There's the site or context-led project, and then there's the theory or speculative project. And the speculative project starts to do more far-fetched things, and that excited me.
