I also had a chat with Gustavo the week before sometime. Unclear when. I might have to place this, stage it. It would have been a Tuesday, I think. I met Gustavo, and he remembered me from previous years, and I was confused, and I went to chat to him about my topic, and I told him I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, and I wanted to work with deaths and things like that, but I also told him that I wasn't really interested in buildings. And he was like, what do you mean? Like if you're not interested in buildings, what does that do for you? And I told him, and he was very kind about it. He understood exactly what I meant. He recommended the book Walkscapes, which I haven't read yet, but I'd like an extraction point. Because he was saying, you know, I was thinking about Richard Serra and certain sort of installations, land landscape-led spatial pieces that aren't just like buildings.
