Assignment

Author: AI. Production date: 11 October 2026. Status: demonstration complete. Human review and the full source audit remain open.

Direct authorisation: make a full Obsidian demonstration in dedicated folders and subfolders inside the publication vault, with operations records and guidance for adopting the result. The user confirmed the task master but requires other relevant tasks too. Historical literature timing remains undecided.

Owned destination: 09 publication/part 1 submission/daily-note-demonstration and its subfolders. Existing sources, shared methods, investigation drafts, publication notes, containers and registers remain read-only.

This is a substantial linked sample rather than a small copy-and-paste change. The assistant creates and checks the bundle. Promotion into existing notes is a subsequent responsibility after the format and placement have been reviewed.

Role check

The requested live AI operations/Publication log.md is absent. The archived log under old corpus/AI SLOP is excluded by the user's correction and by the consolidation run. The latest direct instructions govern this sample. No decision or dispatch is imported from that archived log.

Reuse: the existing 5–6 March daily drafts, publication templates, memory extracts, containers, narrative workbook, timeline interview records, M sequence, current investigation arguments, consolidated argument and figure inventory. None becomes accepted prose through reuse.

Dependency: the consolidated argument's human review and source audit remain open. This run checks the selected passages' placement and preservation, not transcript-wide coverage.

Operations performed

  • Read the timeline context, working methods and current handovers. Distinguished confirmed preferences, historical records, AI interpretations and pending proposals.
  • Inspected the original human presentation messages, oral draft, Review 1 deck and diarised live discussion. Kept the later written feedback separate.
  • Inspected the narrative workbook read-only. Weekly Visual rows 18–20 place the initial review before further common-needs and site work. Its activity and foreground counts do not supply importance scores.
  • Selected three unchanged consolidated paragraphs. Located their original investigation-draft blocks and noted that the consolidation log's stored line numbers have shifted.
  • Inspected the programme diagram, earth/sky study and Review 1 site map. The image-to-argument relationships are proposed matches, not evidence of completed architectural resolution.
  • Verified the selected cremation quotation against Zondi and Zwane's author manuscript. The paper and the dissertation cited by the consolidated argument remain distinct records.
  • Created the authorised sample bundle. The first comparison recovered two additional background passages in the existing 5 March note. Both the cultural reading and Gustavo conversation were retained in both formats.

Saved outputs and checks

  • Four daily notes: two dates, each shown through the functional template and the integrated arrangement.
  • Six supporting investigation cycles, retaining all nine headers. Three academic passages have one primary home each. Related investigations use references. The earth/sky study remains an open design test.
  • Four memory notes with exact preserved human extracts and existing prompts, two distinct Literature Notes, three sample containers and four unchanged images.
  • Placement, method, source record, literature timing comparison, thread reasoning, two-day JSON data, source snapshot, build/check scripts and validation record.
  • The adoption plan names the existing daily and investigation targets, reuses existing memories and assets, and checks containers before any later promotion.

Validation passed after correcting one inherited source-markup link. The oral source is now displayed as literal text, preserving its words while preventing its original biophilia link from becoming a broken publication link.

Checked 28 Markdown files and 141 internal links. All targets and dated headings resolve. Both daily formats contain the same 15 first-person prose blocks, decisions and task wording. Four memory extracts and three primary academic paragraphs are preserved. The 26 thread records agree with the YAML, and each date has one visual record. Day numbering is checked from 2 February. Four image copies match their recorded hashes. All 27 source files read into the snapshot were unchanged at the completion check.

The initial URI launch was denied by the execution sandbox. The authorised retry succeeded. Obsidian's saved publication workspace confirms the guide opened in preview mode inside the publication vault. No existing note or application setting was edited by this run. The app may update its own workspace state when opening a tab.

All four images were inspected individually. The Obsidian page rendering was not visually inspected through native UI automation. The validation record states that limit rather than treating structural checks as visual inspection.

Thread assessment reasoning

Next bounded action

Review one daily format and the placement relationships. Keep unknown literature timing and proposed weights open until resolved. Then promote the selected arrangement through the existing publication notes using the adoption plan, preserving any intervening user edits. The pending source audit can revise a specific contribution or dependency without duplicating the daily architecture.

Current limits

No historical first-reading date is established for Zwane's 2011 dissertation. The 2014 paper's quotation was already shown at Review 1, but the exact first encounter is unknown. Walkscapes is evidenced as a recommendation and a named resource. The statements about its reading status differ in the live presentation and later recollection.

The original recording was not replayed in this run. Speaker attribution follows the diarised transcript. Its 8 March filename and metadata are not treated as the live review date.

Memory experiences have no assigned event dates. Their recollection date and their proposed relevance to the sample days are recorded separately.

Thread states and importance weights are AI proposals for review. An unassessed state remains unknown. The sample does not establish absence from silence.
